Thornbush is born from a biblical folktale about St. Michael & The Devil, who were fighting a long war outside the gates of heaven. St. Michael won and cast The Devil out of heaven. The Devil fell out of the sky, back down to Earth, and fell into a spiky blackberry thornbush. Unhappy with this, The Devil spat on the blackberries, cursing the fruit for eternity. Thornbush begs the question: Will you risk the curse for the reward of a great whiskey?

The push and pull between St. Michael and The Devil is Thornbush in a nutshell, like having an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. Thornbush is a balance of the heavenly sweetness of the blackberry with the spicy bite of the whiskey, and this combination is what makes Thornbush a dynamic flavored whiskey.
